Your guide to appearing on Good Morning Portugal! & Portugal Talk Radio with Carl Munson
Welcome, and thank you for joining us. The studio link will have been sent to you with your diary booking. Everything you need to know to prepare for your segment is below.
Your time on Good Morning Portugal!
You'll be on for 15 minutes, from approximately 08:10am to 08:25am. There may be a further 5–10 minutes responding to audience questions.
Your input & insight
Carl will send you a topical issue from the national or international news ahead of the segment. You'll bring your expert insight to that 'story'.
Audience questions
Be ready for a short Q&A with listeners in the final part of the slot. Keep answers concise and conversational, but feel free to be challenging and authentic!
Sound, light & backdrop
Please think about your sound quality and backdrop. Be well lit, facing a window or a lamp, and choose a quiet room with minimal echo.
Use a desktop device
Ideally use a desktop or laptop device with a wired headset or USB microphone for the best audio quality and a stable connection.
Dry run (recommended)
Feel free to connect with Carl beforehand to do a dry run - if you haven't done this before - an off-air test to make sure the connection is good and you're comfortable with how it all works.
After your participation: your appearance will most likely be published on Portugal Talk Radio and our other social platforms and made available on demand indefinitely. We'll share the link with you once it's live. I will take your participation to be your agreement to subsequent sharing of any material created.
